Thence, the Italian Company will proceed the official production of this new car later in March 2016.“Maserati” engineers are straining at the current period- through experiments and rigorous testing on various types of terrains – on putting final touches on their first sports multi-function SUV. The Italian Company is relying on five passenger’s cabin “Levante” in grabbing an important market share in this category of vehicles, and intruding as a powerful rival to the two German cars “Porsche Cayenne” and “BMW X 6, as well as Bentley‘s upcoming Bentayga.Maserati Levante offers engines that will include the firm’s new 410bhp twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre petrol V6 and a 530bhp twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 for the highest version, in addition to a 271bhp 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel will be the key power plant for Europe. The engines will be linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Levante will use a version of the ‘Q4’ all-wheel drive system adapted from its application in the latest “Ghibli” and “Quattroporte” models. Moreover,The all-wheel drive system will be modified for the Levante’s dual-purpose role, with Maserati expected to draw on sister brand Jeep’s expertise for the SUV’s rough-terrain capabilities.According to Maserati’s sources, “Levante” will be sold in the European markets at price starting of about 99.800$, and 222.000$ for the highest version.
